Lemon verbena is a woody shrub with long, bright green leaves that produces small white flowers. It is known for its intense lemon fragrance. Uses: Lemon verbena is commonly used to flavor beverages, salads, jellies, sauces, soups, and meat or fish dishes. Its leaves can also be used as a substitute for lemon.
